FCC Amends Rules for Interconnected VoIP Services

The Federal Communications Commission has updated its rules to require providers of interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services to follow the same discontinuance procedures as traditional domestic telecommunications carriers, aiming to protect consumers from sudden service disruptions.
