ATF Director to Have Authority to Decide on Denial, Suspension, or Revocation of Federal Firearms Licenses

The Department of Justice is amending the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) regulations to grant the Director of ATF the authority to make final decisions on the denial, suspension, or revocation of federal firearms licenses, or the imposition of civil fines, allowing for more efficient decision-making and consistency in agency decisions.
