DEA Proposes Lacosamide for Schedule V Classification Under Controlled Substances Act

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has proposed to place the substance lacosamide and its containing products into Schedule V of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), following a recommendation from the Acting Assistant Secretary for Health of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and an evaluation of relevant data by the DEA.
