DEA Proposes Scheduling 5-MeO-DMT as Schedule I Substance Under Controlled Substances Act

The Drug Enforcement Administration is proposing to add 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine and its salts to Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, imposing criminal sanctions and regulatory controls on its manufacture, distribution, and possession.
