DEA Schedules Fospropofol as Schedule IV Controlled Substance

The Drug Enforcement Administration has finalized a rule placing the anesthetic agent fospropofol into Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act, subjecting its manufacture, distribution, and use to regulatory controls and criminal sanctions.
