DEA Reopens Comment Period on Proposed Schedule I Classification for 5-Methoxy-N,N-Dimethyltryptamine

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is extending the public comment period for its proposed rulemaking to place 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine (5-MeO-DMT) and its salts into Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), originally set to expire on September 21, 2009.
