Department of State Adjusts Civil Monetary Penalties for Inflation

The Department of State has issued a final rule to update civil monetary penalties (CMP) for regulatory provisions, adjusting the amounts based on the December 2018 guidance from the Office of Management and Budget, effective on a date to be determined.
