Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation Imposes Additional Sanctions on Russia

The US Department of State imposed additional sanctions on Russia on March 29, 2019, following a determination that the Russian government used chemical weapons against its own nationals, as mandated by the Chemical and Biological Weapons Control and Warfare Elimination Act of 1991.
