EPA Approves Virginia's Revised Air Quality Plan for Norfolk Southern Corporation

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the Commonwealth of Virginia, removing a nitrogen oxide (NOx) reasonably available control technology (RACT) permit for the permanently shut-down Norfolk Southern Railway Company--East End Shops facility in Roanoke, Virginia, in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA).
