NRCS to Revise Conservation Practice Standards in National Handbook of Conservation Practices

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is proposing changes to its National Handbook of Conservation Practices, which will include revised standards for Deep Tillage, Waste Transfer, and Road/Trail/Landing Closure and Treatment, and will be adopted by NRCS State Conservationists for use in conservation systems on highly erodible land or wetlands.
