USDA Amends National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances for Organic Livestock

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule to update the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances, reflecting a recommendation from the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) to extend the use of Methionine in organic poultry production until October 1, 2010.
