US Army to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Fort Monroe Reuse

The US Department of the Army plans to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the reuse of Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia, following the 2005 Base Closure and Realignment Commission's recommendations, with a closure deadline of September 14, 2011.
