NRCS Publishes Final Rule on NEPA Compliance Regulations
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has issued a final rule amending its National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance regulations, aligning them with the Council on Environmental Quality's (CEQ) regulations and clarifying the use of program environmental assessments (EAs). The rule, which was finalized without change after a comment period closed without receiving any comments, aims to improve the efficiency and timeliness of environmental reviews, particularly for actions taken within 60-90 days.
