HUD Publishes Final FY2009 Fair Market Rents for Housing Programs

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has published the final Fair Market Rents (FMRs) for Fiscal Year 2009 for the Housing Choice Voucher Program and Moderate Rehabilitation Single Room Occupancy Program. The FMRs are based on the 40th and 50th percentile rent levels, updated with 2000 Census data and more recent Consumer Price Index (CPI) rent and utility indexes.
