Coast Guard Announces Availability of Final Programmatic Environmental Assessment for Modernization

The US Coast Guard has released its Final Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) for modernization, concluding that a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) is warranted, and thus avoiding the need for an environmental impact statement, based on the analysis and mitigation plan outlined in the PEA.
