Medicaid Program; Self-Directed Personal Assistance Services Program State Plan Option (Cash and Counseling) Guidance Released

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued a final rule providing guidance to states on administering self-directed personal assistance services through their Medicaid state plans, allowing beneficiaries to purchase personal assistance services through a self-directed plan and budget.
