USDA Delays Effective Date of System of Records Notice for Smuggling Interdiction and Trade Compliance

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has delayed the effective date of a system of records notice, originally set for January 10, 2025, due to a presidential memorandum titled 'Regulatory Freeze Pending Review', which was issued on January 20, 2025. The exemptions in the notice are now set to take effect on April 11, 2025.
