US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Dakota Prairie Grasslands Land and Resource Plan Amendment

The US Forest Service plans to prepare an environmental impact statement for an amendment to the Dakota Prairie Grasslands Land and Resource Management Plan, which includes approving site-specific projects for restoring ecological functions, improving livestock grazing, enhancing heritage and recreation opportunities, and promoting conservation activities on 5,200 acres of recently acquired private land in North Dakota.
