Idaho Panhandle National Forest Withdraws Environmental Impact Statement Plan for Noxious Weed Treatment Project

The Idaho Panhandle National Forest is withdrawing its Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Noxious Weed Treatment Project, a decision made after re-evaluating the need for a full Environmental Impact Statement. The Forest Service will instead conduct an Environmental Assessment to assess potential impacts.
