U.S. Department of Agriculture Extends Comment Period for Poultry Standards Revisions

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the public comment period for revisions to the Poultry Standards, which were initially proposed on January 16, 2025. The extension aims to address changes in poultry production and quality assessment methods, as well as shifting consumer preferences since the last substantial revision in 1998.
