FHWA Proposes Memorandum of Understanding with Alaska Department of Transportation to Assign Environmental Responsibilities

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has developed a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to transfer environmental responsibilities for Federal-aid highway projects to the state, in accordance with federal regulations and the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
