USDA and FDA to Host Public Meeting on Food Hygiene Standards

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are hosting a public meeting on October 30, 2008, to gather public comments on proposed food hygiene standards for the 40th Session of the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene (CCFH) at the Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex) meeting in Guatemala City, Guatemala, from December 1-5, 2008.
