National Park Service Terminates Environmental Impact Statement for Lava Beds National Monument

The National Park Service has decided to abandon its Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the General Management Plan of Lava Beds National Monument, citing a lack of controversy or significant impacts, and will instead prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) instead.
