FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747 Models
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Boeing 747 models to address a potential fuel system issue. The proposed AD aims to prevent uncommanded operation of the override/jettison pumps of the center wing tanks, which could lead to a center fuel tank explosion and loss of the airplane.
