Notice of Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement and Proposed Land Use Plan Amendment for SES Solar Two Project

The US Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the California Energy Commission are planning to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement/Staff Assessment and a proposed land use plan amendment for the SES Solar Two Project, a 750 MW concentrated solar thermal power plant in Imperial County, California. The project, which requires approximately 6,500 acres of land, has been submitted for a right-of-way approval.
