USDA Forest Service to Prepare Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Invasive Plant Treatment Project in Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests

The USDA Forest Service plans to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SETS) to assess the potential environmental impacts of invasive plant treatment activities on the Deschutes National Forest, Ochoco National Forest, and the Crooked River National Grassland. This project evaluates various treatment methods, including manual, mechanical, and herbicide treatments, and incorporates Forest Plan direction.
