DHS Issues Final Rule Exempting Portions of SEVIS System from Privacy Act Provisions

The Department of Homeland Security is issuing a final rule to exempt certain portions of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) from provisions of the Privacy Act, citing enforcement requirements related to criminal, civil, and administrative actions.
