FAA Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for General Electric CF6-80A, CF6-80C2, and CF6-80E1 Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing an update to an existing airworthiness directive for General Electric Company (GE) CF6-80A, CF6-80C2, and CF6-80E1 series turbofan engines to enhance inspection requirements and prevent critical engine failures.
