Coast Guard Proposes Temporary Security Zone for 2009 Presidential Inauguration

The US Coast Guard plans to set up a temporary security zone along the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers in Washington, DC, and surrounding areas to protect high-ranking government officials and the public from January 14 to January 25, 2009, ahead of the 2009 Presidential Inauguration events.
