EPA Reissues NPDES General Permits for Log Transfer Facilities in Alaska

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is publishing the final National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) general permits for log transfer facilities in Alaska, providing Clean Water Act authorization for facilities operating in the state. The permits, AK-G70-0000 and AK-G70-1000, cover facilities that received a Section 404 permit prior to October 22, 1985, and those that meet eligibility requirements, respectively.
