APHIS Delays Effective Date of Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia Rule

The US Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is delaying the effective date of its interim rule restricting the interstate movement and importation of live fish susceptible to viral hemorrhagic septicemia from November 10, 2008, to January 9, 2009, to allow for further consideration of comments and rule adjustments.
