EPA Announces Availability of Carbaryl RED Amendment and Response to Petition to Cancel Registrations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released an updated version of its Reregistration Eligibility Decision (RED) for Carbaryl, a pesticide, and responded to a petition from the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to cancel all registrations for the chemical. The updated decision incorporates revised worker risk mitigation measures and reflects new scientific data and methodologies.
