MMS Amends Regulations to Enhance Oil and Gas Infrastructure Safety

The MMS has revised its rules to require lessees and operators to submit reports on damaged facilities and pipelines following natural disasters, and to provide additional information on structural integrity and pipeline installation, aiming to improve the safety of the oil and gas infrastructure.
