Uniform Rules of Origin for Imported Merchandise Reopened for Comments

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is reopening the comment period for a proposed rule to establish uniform rules governing CBP determinations of the country of origin of imported merchandise. The original deadline for comments was September 23, 2008, but was extended to October 23, 2008, following a notice published in the Federal Register.
