Medicare Program to Host Listening Session on Hospital-Acquired Conditions and Healthcare-Associated Conditions

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host a listening session on December 18, 2008, to gather informal comments on hospital-acquired conditions and healthcare-associated conditions in preparation for the 2010 inpatient and outpatient payment systems.
