VA Launches Expedited Claims Adjudication Initiative-Pilot Program

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is launching a pilot program at four VA facilities to expedite claims and appeals processing, allowing eligible claimants to waive certain response periods and utilize the Board of Veterans' Appeals' statutory authority to pre-screen cases, with the goal of accelerating processing nationwide if successful.
