EPA Sets New Emission Standards for Aerosol Spray Paints

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is implementing new national emission standards for aerosol coatings, which will take effect on July 1, 2009, and will require manufacturers to notify the agency 30 days prior to the compliance date, rather than 90 days in advance.
