Social Security Administration to Simplify Representative Payee Application Process

The Social Security Administration is amending its rules to reduce the number of face-to-face interviews required for representative payee applicants who previously met the investigation criteria, allowing them to become qualified more quickly and expediting payment of benefits in certain situations.
