CFTC Issues Final Rule to Update Position Limits for Security Futures Products

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has issued a final rule to increase the default maximum level of equity security futures position limits, modify position accountability criteria, and provide designated contract markets (DCMs) with discretion to apply limits to a person's net position or position on the same side of the market.
