Health and Human Services Secretary Adopts Rules for Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act

The Secretary of Health and Human Services is implementing the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005 by establishing a framework for voluntary reporting of patient safety events to Patient Safety Organizations, while outlining requirements for PSOs and protections for confidentiality and privilege.
