USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Golden Hand Lode Mining Claims in Payette National Forest

The USDA Forest Service will prepare an environmental impact statement for the proposed Plan of Operations for the Golden Hand 1 and 2 lode mining claims in the Frank Church--River of No Return Wilderness, in response to a plan submitted by American Independence Mines and Minerals, Inc. to collect subsurface geological information on the claims.
