NRCS Announces Intent to Prepare PEIS for HPCC Burn Scar Project Watershed Plan in New Mexico

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) New Mexico State Office plans to prepare a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for the Hermit's Peak and Calf Canyon (HPCC) Burn Scar Project, which aims to address flooding, sedimentation, and water quality issues in seven counties of New Mexico following the 2022 HPCC fire.
