EPA Proposes Administrative Settlement Agreement for Leviathan Mine Superfund Site

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is providing notice of a proposed administrative settlement agreement with Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) for the cleanup of the contaminated Leviathan Mine Superfund Site in Alpine County, California. The agreement resolves past and future cleanup costs, as well as a civil penalty, and includes a supplemental environmental project in Nevada.
