Safety Zone: Oregon Inlet, North Carolina, Dredge Project
The U.S. Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety area around the dredging vessel R.S. Weeks in Oregon Inlet, North Carolina, to protect vessels during dredging operations. The goal is to deepen the water in Oregon Inlet to 14 feet, and only vessels authorized by the Captain of the Port, North Carolina, will be allowed to enter the designated safety zone.
