EPA Finds Motor Vehicle Emissions Budgets Adequate for Eastern Kern County

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that the motor vehicle emissions budgets for 8-hour ozone in the Eastern Kern County 8-hour Ozone Early Progress Plan are sufficient for transportation conformity purposes, requiring the Kern Council of Governments and the US Department of Transportation to use these budgets in future analyses.
