SEC Adopts Temporary Rule for Money Market Funds' Liquidation

The Securities and Exchange Commission has introduced a temporary exemption allowing certain money market funds to temporarily suspend redemptions and postpone payment of redemption proceeds during the orderly liquidation of their assets under the U.S. Department of Treasury's temporary guaranty program.
