HHS to Evaluate Petition for United Nuclear Corp. Employees to Be Included in Special Exposure Cohort

The Department of Health and Human Services has announced its decision to evaluate a petition to include employees of the United Nuclear Corp. in the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, covering those who worked at the facility in Hematite, Missouri, from 1958 to 2006.
