Bureau of Land Management Announces Availability of Oil Shale and Tar Sands Resource Management Plan Amendments and Final Environmental Impact Statement

The Bureau of Land Management has made available the approved amendments to the Resource Management Plan for oil shale and tar sands resources in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, as well as a final environmental impact statement, following a review under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the Energy Policy Act of 2005, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976. The documents can be accessed online at http://ostseis.anl.gov or in person at various BLM office locations.
