EPA Reassesses Hospital/Medical/Infectious Waste Incinerators Regulations After Court Ruling

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has re-evaluated its regulations for hospital/medical/infectious waste incinerators (HMIWI) following a court ruling, which led to the regulations being implemented in 2002 and set to be reviewed every 5 years until 2027.
