EPA Proposes to Add Hazardous Pharmaceuticals to Universal Waste Rule

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to add pharmaceutical wastes to the Universal Waste Rule, a regulation that streamlines the collection of certain hazardous wastes, to improve management of pharmaceutical waste and facilitate pharmaceutical take-back programs.
